To tell you the truth why did Obama even go on O’Reilly?
Everyone knows what he and his show is. What did Obama think he was going to accomplish? Convince O’Reilly listeners to vote for him? Not!
It gives Mr Pinhead too much credit for being an actual journalist.
Obama needs to fire his handlers!
There’s other legitimate shows he should be appearing on.
By the way the Oberman appearance was stupid too.

Am I the only one that cares about the issues being discussed rather than the retardation of the interviewer? Am I the only one that thinks that redistribution of wealth is a very dangerous idea? Am I the only one that thinks that our property that we work hard for is ours and ours alone and no one should have the right to take it for any purpose? If Obama or anyone else for that matter wants to help the poor than he should start a charity, Americans are the most charitable people on the planet, not try to force everyone else to contribute to a bureaucracy that will take more than 50% of it’s collected revenue up in overhead expenses and squander more of it before any of it gets into the hands of those that need it. Why can’t we all work for a living and keep our money and spend it how we want to? I know I will more than likely get flamed for saying all of this because I have only scratched the surface of these ideas (which by the way are in no way original, the credit belongs to the founders of this country) and there is good explanation of why these ideas are in the best interest of everyone in this country and it would take too long to put them all here. I have spent too much money on Amazon to learn all about the ways these and the opposing ideas work and the founders happened to be right about a lot. BTW if you don’t believe that Obama and is policies are dangerous just take a look at this.
The 10 PLANKS stated in the Communist Manifesto and some of their American counterparts are…

    1. Abolition of private property and the application of all rents of land to public purposes.
Americans do these with actions such as the 14th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution (1868), and various zoning, school & property taxes. Also the Bureau of Land Management (Zoning laws are the first step to government property ownership)

    2. A heavy progressive or graduated income tax.
Americans know this as misapplication of the 16th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, 1913, The Social Security Act of 1936.; Joint House Resolution 192 of 1933; and various State “income” taxes. We call it “paying your fair share”.

    3. Abolition of all rights of inheritance.
Americans call it Federal & State estate Tax (1916); or reformed Probate Laws, and limited inheritance via arbitrary inheritance tax statutes.

    4. Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels.
Americans call it government seizures, tax liens, Public “law” 99-570 (1986); Executive order 11490, sections 1205, 2002 which gives private land to the Department of Urban Development; the imprisonment of “terrorists” and those who speak out or write against the “government” (1997 Crime/Terrorist Bill); or the IRS confiscation of property without due process. Asset forfeiture laws are used by DEA, IRS, ATF etc…).

    5. Centralization of credit in the hands of the state, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly.
Americans call it the Federal Reserve which is a privately-owned credit/debt system allowed by the Federal Reserve act of 1913. All local banks are members of the Fed system, and are regulated by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) another privately-owned corporation. The Federal Reserve Banks issue Fiat Paper Money and practice economically destructive fractional reserve banking.

    6. Centralization of the means of communications and transportation in the hands of the State.
Americans call it the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Department of Transportation (DOT) mandated through the ICC act of 1887, the Commissions Act of 1934, The Interstate Commerce Commission established in 1938, The Federal Aviation Administration, Federal Communications Commission, and Executive orders 11490, 10999, as well as State mandated driver’s licenses and Department of Transportation regulations.

    7. Extension of factories and instruments of production owned by the state, the bringing into cultivation of waste lands, and the improvement of the soil generally in accordance with a common plan.
Americans call it corporate capacity, The Desert Entry Act and The Department of Agriculture… Thus read “controlled or subsidized” rather than “owned”… This is easily seen in these as well as the Department of Commerce and Labor, Department of Interior, the Environmental Protection Agency, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation, Bureau of Mines, National Park Service, and the IRS control of business through corporate regulations.

    8. Equal liability of all to labor. Establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture.
Americans call it Minimum Wage and slave labor like dealing with our Most Favored Nation trade partner; i.e. Communist China. We see it in practice via the Social Security Administration and The Department of Labor. The National debt and inflation caused by the communal bank has caused the need for a two “income” family. Woman in the workplace since the 1920’s, the 19th amendment of the U.S. Constitution, the Civil Rights Act of 1964, assorted Socialist Unions, affirmative action, the Federal Public Works Program and of course Executive order 11000.

    9. Combination of agriculture with manufacturing industries, gradual abolition of the distinction between town and country, by a more equitable distribution of population over the country.
Americans call it the Planning Reorganization act of 1949 , zoning (Title 17 1910-1990) and Super Corporate Farms, as well as Executive orders 11647, 11731 (ten regions) and Public “law” 89-136. These provide for forced relocations and forced sterilization programs, like in China.

    10. Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.
Americans are being taxed to support what we call ‘public’ schools, but are actually “government force-tax-funded schools ” Even private schools are government regulated. The purpose is to train the young to work for the communal debt system. We also call it the Department of Education, the NEA and Outcome Based “Education” . These are used so that all children can be indoctrinated and inculcated with the government propaganda, like “majority rules”, and “pay your fair share”. WHERE are the words “fair share” in the Constitution, Bill of Rights or the Internal Revenue Code (Title 26)?? NO WHERE is “fair share” even suggested !! The philosophical concept of “fair share” comes from the Communist maxim, “From each according to their ability, to each according to their need! This concept is pure socialism. … America was made the greatest society by its private initiative WORK ETHIC … Teaching ourselves and others how to “fish” to be self sufficient and produce plenty of EXTRA commodities to if so desired could be shared with others who might be “needy”… Americans have always voluntarily been the MOST generous and charitable society on the planet.

Do changing words, change the end result? … By using different words, is it all of a sudden OK to ignore or violate the provisions or intent of the Constitution of the united States of America?????

    Big Brother Reply:

Actually, very little of the above can be found in the Commmunist Manifesto. All of it, word-for-word, can be found at RonPaulForPresident2008 Blog from which it was shamelessly plagiarized.

The best part is when it seems to be criticizing “Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form.” So we’re supposed to take economic advice and moralizing from someone who is in favor of child labor? High-larious!

    John from Cleveland Reply:

    OOHHHHH Snap… busted for plagarism.

    Erik from New York Reply:

Should I have included the citation? I did not realize it was required in blogs. For that I apologize. You are however incorrect the 10 planks of the communist manifesto are what they are and they can be found simply by googleing and reading the manifesto. And wow that is some super spin there Mr Big Bro. To say that one of the planks of Communism includes something that is not a bad idea does not automatically mean that we anyone is oppose to that one particular idea. You should go to work for one of the network media outlets, they don’t spin things that well. BTW I didn’t get it from any RP blog but a different LP site since that is obviously the matter of importance to you. Besides I never claimed or tried to pass off the 10 planks of the Communist Manifesto as my own original idea therefor plagiarism is not even close to what I did. Most people now call it cut and paste. Kind of unfair to make fun of something you don’t quite fully understand but I get it if you don’t understand something it scares you so you make fun of it and that make you feel better about yourself. That’s fine with me.

    Erik from New York Reply:

Furthermore I was not moralizing simply asking legitimate questions. I’m glad you have a problem with nothing more than the fact that the Communist Manifesto states that it supports “Abolition of children’s factory labor in its present form.” but the whole present form part was obviously ignored as well as the rest of the plank which states “Combination of education with industrial production.” which means that schools would force children to work. So I guess you support children working in school but not child labor in it’s current form. How did you say that “High-larious”? Where do you really stand on the issue, or does it not matter because you just didn’t like what I said, disagree, and decided to make fun?

    Big Brother Reply:

Erik, you gotta calm down, man. The hostility isn’t necessary.

First of all, what you did was the very definition of plagiarism. Of course even in blog comments, you have to credit the source of something you copy and paste. The medium doesn’t change the ethics. Someone else created something and you put it under your name without indicating it was taken from there. That’s sketchy, you can’t twist your way out of it.

Second, no, the Communist Manifesto does not include the 10 points listed here. Neither, frankly, does the Democratic Party/Obama Campaign platform. Far from it, in fact.

I understand the motive for conflating all this stuff, but it’s not very honorable. The burden of proof should be on you, though, to point out where the Communist Manifesto is in line with Democratic platform — which I don’t mean to defend, mind you. You would need to cite quotes from the Manifesto and draw explicit parallels. A bunch of weird assertions like that list of kookiness doesn’t really count.

As for my own ideas, I don’t really get it. I can’t point out someone’s patent dishonesty unless I’m going to lay out my own platform on all the issues raised?

    Erik from New York Reply:

My apologies for seeming to get upset but please do not mistake my passion for hostility. You can find the entire Communist manifesto here http://www.anu.edu.au/polsci/marx/classics/manifesto.html and it does well include the 10 planks I mention above which are taken from http://www.libertyzone.com/Communist-Manifesto-Planks.html. I do believe in academic honesty but was not aware that those ideas would even remotely be mistaken for my original ideas but that is my mistake. The platform of the dems/gop are what created the similarities and in some ways exact likenesses to the planks within the Communist Manifesto. I respect your opinion and I know you are an intelligent man but when you resort to making fun and don’t check your facts yet claim that I am factually incorrect, it will tend to upset people, well let me not generalize that kind of thing upsets me. But again I did not me to come off in a hostile manor and my apologies for doing so.

    Big Brother Reply:

First off, Erik, I’m glad you weren’t being hostile. Sorry I mistook your tone.

Second, I have to admit I was dead wrong. The Communist Manifesto does include exactly those ten points at the very end of Part II. I really did not remember that, so I just got that dead wrong. It totally clashes with my memory of the rest of the text and other tenets of Marxism, so I just screwed that up in my head. My bad. Erik = daddy.

What it actually shows me, oddly enough, is that the Communist Manifesto is pretty moderate, contrary to my recollection of it (and contrary to my own beliefs, frankly). But anyway, I’m going to bow out because I got pwned on this, and I have no problem admitting I screwed up. I got caught up in the fact that Erik pulled a paste-job on this and didn’t vet the important parts.

    Erik from New York Reply:

It’s all good man. Actually I’m glad someone paid attention to what I had to say. I enjoy the debate and I am often wrong too. Like your brother says on the show “being wrong helps you learn.” I have suffered many times by opening my mouth when I only knew half of the truth. I only hope that you will continue to read and challenge my posts because as I said before the true mark of intelligence is being open minded to new ideas that might not fit in you box of thought right away. Thanks for the reply and I didn’t intent to pwn you or be hostile in any way shape or form just love to vent my ideas and see what people think about them.

    Big Brother Reply:

Well said, my friend. Keep one thing in mind: I hit as hard as anyone, so when you take me down, you pwn me. I’m not gonna run from it.

    Erik from New York Reply:

I like and respect you even more now. Even though I do not agree with many of your views I would have to ask where the people like you when it comes time to elect leaders. Intelligence, honesty, modesty, and fortitude mean much more to me than who outs lipstick on what. The right intent, the right intelligence, and due diligence make for great leaders. Lets run for office together BigBro. I don;t like Patterson so much and you have Name Recognition already……lol

most ideas that provoke serious change are dangerous by nature. Why do rich people get so upset about losing pocket change??

    E.

    Erik from New York Reply:

What you have to ask yourself is what kind of change you really want. I understand that many people, including myself, are fed up with the Bush administration and status quo politics as well. The thing that we as a people have to be careful about it giving away too much of our power, and liberty. What we all have to realize is that no one does anything for you better than you would and that no one does anything for free better than they would if you pay them to do it. In other words we do not want to let government run anything we want done correctly. They continually prove that they are inept at just about everything except stealing more money and power from the hands of the people. Let em just give an example of how society could benefit from some serious change opposite of the welfare government. Prior to the welfare state we now inhabit communities were not lost and unable to handle local issues without the help of national government. They would either meet as a community and help each other through the difficulty or petition local government for aid. This is how our country is supposed to work. Why is it a better way? Because the people control the power locally not some disconnected, rich, businessman who has been out of touch with what really goes on where the rubber meets the road for way too long to care. These politicians sit in D.C. and become the Lords and Ladies of our land not the servants they are supposed to be. That beings me to the argument of experience. These people are not supposed to be experienced. They are supposed to represent you and me and the experiences we have not the experience of politics. That is the only way that democratic republics will work properly.
