You know you are gonna watch the Vice Presidential debate Thursday night. Just like you slow down to check out that car crash. Just like you watch David Blaine, secretly hoping he drowns. Just like you look at gay porn every single night. Let’s face it, Palin and Biden are both going to hang themselves… and we’ll be there with sticks to poke their twitching remains like political piñatas. Pete and I have asked PBM blogcaster and Blog Bunker host Joe “Slaughterhouse” Salzone to join us in liveblogging the debate. (As a special feature, Joe and I will be attempting to diagram Sarah Palin’s sentences in real time to determine if they have any syntactic validity whatsoever.) We’ve also gotten commitments from Sean “TV Dinner” Bertollo and Aaron “Buster Lover” Hodges… so now all we need is you.
Now, if you’re like my brother, you might get halfway through the debate, wondering the whole time what you were forgetting, and then go, “Shit! I’m missing the Pete’s Big Mouth liveblog simulcast extravaganza!” Or you might get caught up looking at gay porn and forget the debate altogether! So to make sure that doesn’t happen — and to make sure you never miss any of Pete’s events (like national TV appearances and other cool stuff) — you should go subscribe to Pete’s new Twitter feed. Whenever we post an update to Twitter, you’ll get it, and that way you won’t miss the next time Pete goes on Comedy Central to deliver his hack jokes about funny things that supposedly happened at the gym.

I think we need to cut spending and lower taxes. Think about it, if you cant afford something you look for the next best thing. Maybe its about time we lay off the next best thing and try just going for the bare minimum for a while. Maybe then we might start to appreciate what we have and save some money.

Does global warming effect our solar system? They have to explain why the Sun is heating up and every planet in our solar system too. Its not unique to planet earth. Also, our magnetic field is dissipating here on planet Earth. If that goes all the solar winds will turn Earth into another Mars.

Correct me if I’m wrong but our ozone doesnt protect us from solar wind, its the earths magnetic field and the last I checked scientists didnt have an explanation as to why its weakening.

actually, they sort of do. you see ozone, chemically 03 (3 oxides) is a very unstable molecule, and CO (carbon monoxide, a bulk in the percentages of pollution) attracts one of the oxides from ozone, thus creating O2, regular oxygen, which in effect offers no protection from UV, etc. also, the gas CO2 is a “gree-house gas” which means it holds heat, contributing to the warming effect

oops, sorry, your right ozone has nothing to do with solarwinds, because the particles are charged and deflected by our magnetosphere or trapped in the Van Allen radiation belt (the cause of Aurora borealis), but the ozone information otherwise is as of yet correct. on the subject of the weakening of our magnetic field, as far as I’ve read, this is a natural occurence acting as a sing before a dipole reversal (ie north becomes south and vise-versa). Scientists believe that the current decay began about 200 years ago and will, at the current rate of decline, reverse in about 1500 to 200 years from now. however, the weakening does not always lead to reversal, it can cause a surge in strength and then start to weaken again thousands of years later. the behaivor of our magnetic field is highly erratic.

There are checks and balances for the government, not for the people. If the people choose to do so, they can tip the scales in a heart beat, as long as they come together. Its too bad people have been polarized left and right, Democrat and Republican. United we stand, divided we fall. Divide and conquer. Thats why we will never see a 3rd party as long as people believe everything they hear on the tube and radio and dont allow themselves to become vulnerable and open their minds, we will continue down this path until we reach the grinder at the end.
