   Pete is doing a special pre-scheduled gig in PA. I don’t know why he didn’t say for what on the air yesterday, so I don’t want to reveal more than that. If you’re thinking bar mitzvah, you’re getting warm. He did tell me he really wishes he was doing the show today, so my behind-the-scenes revelation is that I don’t think he’s going to abandon us like this too much in the future.

   He said something on raw dog about going to PA to be with the Mad Money guy…

   I have to rip on that dude for a second… he was yelling at people to tell them to keep their money in Bear Stearns like 2 days before it crashed… whoooooops

   Okay, so he did mention it. Pete is the preferred warm-up comic for, of all things, Jim Cramer of CNBC’s Mad Money. Laugh that up for a while.

   And, yes, the same Jim Cramer who went bonkers over how stable Bear Stearns was, and how insane you’d have to be to pull your stock. If Cramer has a sense of humor about that, it would be great to poke at him on the air, eh?
